ICS 300: Intermediate Incident Command System for Expanding Incidents covers incident management strategies for emergency response to all-hazard incidents that involve ICS coordination. The three-day course utilizes scenarios and exercises within a team environment to facilitate participant discussion. The course delivery is a "less paper" delivery and course materials will be emailed to participants advance of the course to download to your electronic device.Please be advised registration is reserved for emergency services personnel in the nine-county Kansas City metropolitan area: Cass, Clay, Jackson, Platte and Ray counties in Missouri and Leavenworth, Johnson, Miami and Wyandotte counties in Kansas.
By the end of this course, students will be able to demonstrate through activities and a final exam, the duties, responsibilities and capabilities of an effective ICS in expanding incidents. The course will:
